Omni-Channel Fulfilment And Online Delivery 2015 Report
eCommerce sales in Europe are set to rise to £131.2 billion in 2015, and as volume rises so does strain on supply chains. At the same time customers have become more demanding in terms of the delivery options they expect: click & collect, next day delivery, same day delivery and even same hour delivery. In the lead up to eTail Delivery 2015 we wanted to discover the biggest challenges facing Heads of eCommerce, Logistics and Operations and what they predict for the future of retail delivery.
International Delivery Report
Retailers are exploring the golden opportunity of internationalisation no matter where in the world they are based. Some have reached maturity domestically, while others are struggling within a difficult and competitive local market. Other smaller, more niche businesses may have a limited consumer base domestically but a more substantial target market across the globe. Hence, retailers are looking overseas and across the borders to grow their revenue. In 2014, we published a report looking at where the sector is in terms of global eCommerce and how businesses can drive sales and offer added value for overseas customers. While the industry is ever developing, we feel that the key findings of the report are still true – at least to some degree.
